At Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2017, Qualcomm Technologies showcases Meitrack’s newest palm-sized 3G personal GPS tracker P99G using its MDM9206 LTE modem to demonstrate the performance of Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) call.

Qualcomm Technologies and Meitrack Collaborate

The P99G using VoLTE on Cat-M1 has advantages including reliable, optimized cellular connectivity, deep coverage, low power consumption and long battery life. In remote areas, users can still send location information to quickly pinpoint their positions and establish emergent voice connections with them in a timely manner.

Mr. Liu Kejian, Meitrack President, stated “We are very pleased to co-exhibit our new personal tracker with Qualcomm to demonstrate VoLTE call. This is a significant milestone toward delivering upgraded user experience for our customers. The tracker using Qualcomm’s MDM9206 LTE modem will provide a unique combination of enhanced coverage and long battery life, as well as reliable connectivity.”
