Following a comprehensive certification procedure, Meitrack Group are glad to announce that it has passed the IATF 16949:2016 certification, one of the most widely used technical specifications and quality management standards in the automotive industry.
In October 2016, the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) published the IATF 16949:2016, which superseded and replaced the ISO/TS 16949. IATF 16949:2016 defines the requirements of a quality management system for organizations in the automotive industry and is being implemented in conjunction with ISO 9001:2015. The new automotive industry standard emphasizes continuous improvement, defect prevention and reduction in variation and waste. It is a prerequisite for any companies wanting to supply their products to the automotive industry.
Meitrack established an internal certification team involving the marketing department, sales department, finance department, R&D center, IT department, factory and other departments. The team members have completed a number of internal reviewing tasks including the overall certification planning, personnel training, system documentation improvement, trial running of the system and internal audits. With the joint efforts of all employees, Meitrack’s quality management system is recognized by auditors of TÜV Rheinland, an IATF recognized certification body in Germany, and Meitrack is awarded an IATF 16949:2016 certificate.
Achieving the IATF 16949:2016 certification reflects Meitrack’s commitment to putting customers first and demonstrates that Meitrack is qualified to deliver products that meet customer requirements to the automotive industry. The IATF 16949:2016 certification has the following benefits:
- Increase the trust and confidence of customers and business partners.
- Boost the international market potential.
- Increase productivity and efficiency.
